Filandones

A Filandon is a gathering where women would come together to spin wool, weave or do manual work while sharing stories and songs. We wanted to create an homage to this tradition by weaving tales of complicity. We used different materials to show the interconnectedness of seemingly unrelated things. The wool is handspun and the weaving looms are handcrafted.
